A complete struck copper alloy Medieval French jetton. It is circular, with a convex obverse. The obverse reads AVE MARIA GRACIAA in Lombardic script; in the field there is a shield with three fleur de lis, with three pellets on either side of the shield. There is a cross patte and a rosette in the obverse legend. The reverse has triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in four arched tressures, with alternating V and M in internal angles and one annulet on either side of a rosette in each outer angle. It is in good condition, and has a dark green patina. It measures 24.47 mm DIA x 1.64 mm TH and weighs 8.91 g.
