A gold late Iron Age Northern Region Trinovantian or Catuvellaunian quarter stater of Cunobelin, struck at Camulodunum (Colchester), dating from the late first century BC to the early first century AD. The obverse depicts a corn ear and is inscribed CA/MV and the reverse depicts a horse galloping right, and would presumably have had CVN below, although this is off the flan.
