Side 1: Double-headed eagle. G above. 1590 below.

Side 2: Four pellets.

Notes:

These tokens were issued by the City Council of Groningen and were tariffed at three stuivers. They were used to enable Council Members to obtain beer and wine at the Rathskeller (Town Hall restaurant).

A token struck in the Netherlands during the period of the Dutch Revolts.
