An elaborate medieval openwork belt mount, lozengiform with a trefoil lobe projecting from each side and an internal cusped quatrefoil perforation. Engraved lines echo the form. There are rivet-holes at two opposed angles, both containing a fragment of copper alloy rivet. It measures 17 x 16mm and dates from the 14th-15th century.
