BRACELET
Unique ID: SWYOR-F15356
Object type certainty: Possibly
A cast, copper alloy, possible penannular bracelet possibly of Roman date. The bracelet is circular in plan and oval in section. It tapers towards the terminals which are missing. It is thick, heavy and solid. There is no decoration and most of the patina is missing, revealing a purple reddish metal underneath, but where it does survive it is a glossy dark green. Similar examples are SWYOR-4DBD73, SWYOR-3FB367 and SWYOR-1E3AD7. It is also possible that the object is much more recent and it may be a handle or other functional object. The band is 15.59mm wide and 5.51mm thick.
