A composite ring, comprising two elements which appear to be thin c-sectioned gold strips soldered together. The ring appears to be complete but is now somewhat mis-shapen. The terminals are straight and undamaged, though now open. Treasure reference number 2011 T227.

This is a well-known middle Bronze Age ornament that is found singly (for example 2004 T286 from Newchurch area, Isle of Wight), or grouped together on a hoop of gold wire (for example 2004 T81 from North East Norfolk).
