Description: Post-Medieval silver thimble with a missing crown and split down the length of the thimble. Waffle shaped indentations around the body and three broad interlacing circles with a median line of circular punch marks. There is a plain border around the base with an inscription that reads: 'MEE-REMEMBER'

Similar examples can be found from Ilminster, Somerset (TAR 2004, p.300, fig. 335, 2004 T438) and Carew, Pembrokeshire (TAR 2008, p.360, fig. 432, 08.12).
Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
