A cast copper-alloy dagger chape of probable medieval to post-medieval date. The chape is sub-conical and tapers to a rounded knop. The apperture is sub-oval . Two holes have been drilled into the chape for attachment. It has a darkg green patina with some wear and damage. It measures 29.63 mm long, 10.4 mm wide, 6.42 mm thick and weighs 2.8 grams.
