Spear
Unique ID: LIN-E2B925
Object type certainty: Certain
Fragment of a Bronze Age copper-alloy spear. The spear has a solid circular mid-rib that tapers to the tip. Either side is a tapering wing. The balde edges are abraded but fine vertical file marks are visible on the surface. The spear has a rough break across the base.
The circular cross-section of the mid-rib may suggest that this is a pegged socketed spearhead rather than a basal looped socketed spearhead.
