A Roman ceramic rim sherd probably from a Verulamium Region White Ware mortarium dating c.69 - 160AD. This sherd is from a flanged rim and includes a small section of the wall. There is no evidence of the trituration grits. The fabric is white with mica inclusions and it is abraded.
