There is a hole at either end measuring 1.35mm in diameter. Around the circumference is an applied band of decoration. The middle band has fifteen square pyramidal shaped designs. On one side of this is a of this is a row of twelve filigree heart shapes and on the other side only ten remain due to damage from a depression in the bead. The heart shapes have their body touching the central band with tips pointing towards the holes.
