A Post Medieval copper alloy incomplete button dating to the 16th century. This button is solid with a conical front and flat back; the shank for attachment is broken and missing. The front surface is decorated with cast ridge and grooves which radiate from a central point.

Read (2005: 59 no. 224) illustrates a similar example which he dates to the 16th century.
