A Medieval silver Sterling imitation penny issued by Valéran II, Count of Ligny (1304-1353 and 1364-1366), measuring 18-19mm in diameter and weighing 1.08g (16.6gn). It has a die axis of 3, slight wear, and is apparently plated.

Reverse: Long cross with three pellets in each quarter
