A cast copper-alloy stirrup strap mount of Williams class A type 1 dating 1000-1100.
The object is pentagonal in plan and is pointed at the top (terminal missing) and straight at the bottom. The long opposite sides are curved and also angled. It has a circular hole at the top forming an apex loop and there are two similar fixing holes near each corner at the bottom. In profile the mount is slightly curved and the flange projects rearwards at an angle of about 90°. Decoration on the front face is incised, with a simple line designating a border and a possible lozenge shape in the apex. Across the body are crossed hooks.
