A cast copper alloy ring, possibly related to harness or weaponry that is part of a larger iron-corrosion aglomeration, probably of 6th century date, and possibly part of an Anglo-Saxon burial.<\/p>

The ring is obscured by iron aglomeration, and the appearance of the ring is also that of iron, but the differential preservation and strong presence on the X-ray indicates a copper-alloy production.<\/p>
