The mount is rectangular in shape which slightly tapers to one end, this end also has a decorative tri-lobed terminal. There are rounded lobes which project from each corner of the mount, although two are missing along one edge due to damage. The mount has two circular perforations; one to each side of a central rectangular perforation. There is also a rivet still in situ location between one of the circular perforations and the rectangular one. There is a second rivet hole, but missing the rivet, located at the base of the tri-lobed terminal. The front surface is decorated with repeated ring and dot motifs. The copper alloy has an even pale green patina.
