A copper alloy button dating from the late medieval or Post Medieval period, probably the 15th or 16th century. The circular button is domed and decorated with a central pimple, and radiating moulded curved lines forming a spiral effect. There is an integral flat tab on the reverse with an attachment hole through it. A similar button can be seen on page 27 of Bailey's Buttons and Fasteners.
