The fragment includes one corner of the tile, originally the tile was square. The pattern probably was originally diagonal interweaving strapwork. The corner that remains shows a fleur de lis within a pointed oval. The fleur de lis is white with a blue outline against a yellow background within the pointed oval. The fabric is cream/buff with red grog inclusions. The tile has a thickness of 16.95mm which may indicate it is a floor rather than a wall tile. This tile is probably of London manufacture.
