A post-Medieval silver cufflink (c. 1700-c. 1800). One disc is missing. The surviving disc is circular in plan, convex at the front and concave at the rear. At the front an engraved flower motif is cross-hatched at its centre. At the rear there is a soldered silver wire loop. This loop retains a free running elongated silver wire loop which joined the two discs together. It has a break at one end. The loop is 18.9mm in length, 7.4mm in width and the wire has a diameter of 1.2mm. There is an indeterminate maker's mark on the elongated loop. The front of the disc is worn. Diameter of disc: 17.7mm; thickness (including loop): 4.9mm. Weight: 2.94g.
