A Post Medieval lead alloy panel from a toy piece of furniture possibly a chair probably dating to the 17th century. The panel is rectangular with a twisted rope pattern border. The panel is infilled with an openwork symmetrical pattern. The pattern comprises a central panel with scrolling filling the rest of the space. There are two small rectangular slots arranged along one edge; probably to connect this panel to other sections. On two opposing side of the panel there is further decorative scroll work with a flower terminal on each corner. The lead alloy has traces of \"nature's gilding\" tin sulphides on the surface.<\/p>
