This object has been cast to form an openwork cinquefoil with large rounded central boss and small rounded projections between each petal. On the reverse the front central boss continues as an oval projection with some iron corrosion, suggesting this may have originally had an iron element. The shape of the central section is slightly distorted and bent out of alignment. No precise parallels could be found, this may be a pin head or the front section to a button.
