A Roman copper alloy finger-ring (2nd - 3rd century AD). This finger-ring falls within Daubney Group 2 as it is decorated with pellets. The oval bezel is decorated with two circular cells, filled with red enamel, within a carved pattern. The pattern is symmetrical along the horizontal midline. Each half contains a red enamelled pellet within a spiralling pointed oval against a basket-work background. The band of the finger-ring is missing.
