An Anglo-Norman silver penny of William II (AD 1087-1100) struck in Cambridge probably by the moneyer Wibern between AD 1092-1095. The reverse of the coin has been double struck. Type William II BMC iii, North No.853.

Notes:

This coin was fully identified by the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge and is recorded in the Early Medieval Corpus (EMC No. 2010.0410).

This has been noted as an interesting find by the recorder.
