Ian Leins: These silver units are still quite rare, although Liz Andrews-Wilson recorded quite a few in Sussex a few years back. It is published in the new Chris Rudd catalogue - Ancient British Coinage - ABC type 216. Not in VA or BM catalgoues. c. 50-20 BC, attributed to the Kent coinage (Cantii). The type was published in BNJ coin register 1986.
