Pottery two body sherds. A white fabric with numerous voids, perhaps from the Doncaster area; the external surface in both cases has a slightly pinkish tinge. One sherd has a small spot of glaze on its external surface. Wallace Collyer and members of the Community Archaeology Programme kindly examined these sherds, and regard them as currently undateable. MF suggests a broad Medieval date to be apt, 1200-1500.
