Cast copper-alloy pommel of 'cocked-hat' type. Sub-rectangular in plan, with traces of lugs projecting from either end. Pyramidal in outline, with concave sides; hollowed within. No sign of decoration on any face. The 'cocked-hat' pommel is an early Anglo-Saxon type.
