A gold Iron Age coin; a stater of the Corieltauvi, Uninscribed coinage, South Ferriby type dating from 45 BC - 10 BC. The coin is either incomplete or was struck on a small oval flan. The obverse die is completely obliterated. Compare Van Arsdell number 811-3.
