A copper alloy mount dating from the early Medieval period. It is circular and is decorated with a Celtic cross with interlace in each arm. There is a double circular ring in the centre. There are traces of silvering surviving, but not of enamel. The reverse is undecorated and there are no attachment points. The mount is best seen as coming from a hanging bowl although direct parallels for the decoration have not been found.
