The hoop is squashed and dented, the bezel has a central square faceted dark stone (perhaps a garnet) flanked by two smaller ones, one stone missing and the surviving one faceted and colourless. The upright sides of the bezel are decorated with scallop-shaped cells divided by engraved lines; each scallop is filled with pale blue enamel with a white dot at the base. There is further blue enamel on the shoulders, some now missing.
