A late Iron Age copper alloy spiral finger ring dating 300BC - 100AD. This finger ring has been made so the ends spiral round approximately half way around the band and overlap, forming the rear half of the finger ring. The front section of the finger ring has been decoratively cast to form a pattern comprising three annulets with a pointed oval set on an angle in between the annulets.

Dimensions: width: 5.55mm; thickness: 2.42mm; diameter: 21.46mm; weight: 4.07g.

Notes:

This group of material LON-F93A24; LON-F9B024; LON-F9B3B4; LON-F9B657 were all found together within a small area on a patch of the foreshore that is eroding out revealing orange gravels.

This is a find of note and has been designated: Regional importance
