A mid-late Bronze Age ceramic body sherd from a large jar dating 1150-800BC. This vessel was hand-made and the fabric is dark grey and includes large, irregular fragments of flint. The outer surface appears to have been wiped using a material like cloth or straw.

Notes:

Large sherds of a similar date have also been recently recovered in this area by Pamela Greenwood during recent survey work.
