An Early Medieval (Anglo Scandinavian) copper alloy terminal from a horse harness fitting, dating 11th century. This terminal comprises a loop and part of the connecting bar. The loop is decorated with three knops projecting equidistant around the edge. The entire piece has a S-shaped cross-section.
Similar terminals on horse harness fittings are illustrated by Williams (2007) which are dated to the 11th century.
