Mesolithic to Neolithic knapped flint scraper. The ventral surface has been retouched towards the proximal end removing the bulb of percussion. Beyond the retouch, impact ripples are visible along the length of the ventral surface. The distal surface is half covered in cortex, towards the distal end. There are six ridges on the dorsal surface towards the proximal end where previous flakes have been removed. There is no retouch on the dorsal surface. This appears to be a waste flake that was retouched on the ventral surface to form a scraper. It is 'D' shaped in plan and has a shallow, curved cross section. it is 43.78mm long, 29.35mm wide, 9.63mm thick and weighs 13.44 grams.
