A slightly corroded and bent late 16th-century/early 17th-century copper-alloy 'rose / orb' jetton probably struck by Hans Schultes II (c. 1586 - c. 1603 AD) at Nuremberg (cf. Mitchiner 1988, 407). This jetton has been pierced for re-use through the reverse, possibly as a jewellery item, at 12 o'clock on the obverse, about 3 o'clock on the reverse.
