This strap end falls under the Thomas Classification - Class E. The strap end is formed from two plates of copper alloy riveted together at the open end via two surviving copper alloy rivets. The front surface of the front plate is decorated with a vertical raised ridge which runs from top to bottom, it has two notches cut out of it near to the rounded terminal.
