LITHIC IMPLEMENT
Unique ID: YORYM-3146B0
Two Mesolithic to Neolithic flint blades and a Neolithic elongated thumb scraper. All three have had previous flakes removed from their surfaces and are at least twice as long as they are wide.
The thumb scraper has been finely worked, and has a rounded terminal, it appears to have been bi-facially worked.
These flints have been recorded from a photograph, so no measurements or weights were recorded. The FLO has not seen the flints. Only one surface has been photographed. They were found by a Forestry Commission worker.
