In a forthcoming note on these anonymous 4th century half-siliquae, Roger Bland notes that the vota reverse may be significant in terms of the dating of these issues, potentially linking it to the 15th anniversay of Valentinian II (388-389 AD) or the 15th anniversary of Theodosius II (392-393 AD). These were coins struck in small quantity during the latter half of the 4th century, although it remains uncertain precisely why they were issued.","","","2010-10-06 09:38:58","2010-10-29 13:47:00","4","","","","","","","","1","","1","1","","","","","","abrown","Andrew Brown","SF","abrown","Andrew Brown","Silver","","","","Struck or hammered","","Complete","","","ROMAN","ROMAN","","Metal detector","","Dr Andrew Brown","Dr Roger Bland","Dr Andrew Brown","CAMBRIDGESHIRE","","SOUTH CAMBRIDGESHIRE","","","","","TL5058","TL55NW","","","","","","Teversham","From Map","Helmeted and draped bust of Roma right, seen from the front","No legend","X V within a wreath","No legend","Half-siliqua","","","","","21","6","","","","","","","Regular","","1","1","1","","-//A Q","1","","","","Uncertain - 4th century","","Period 21","388-402","Aquileia (Italy)","","6 o'clock","","","","9","","299164","Teversham_SF-C35A06.jpg","images/abrown/",
