It has become bent in the centre, widthways. It is formed from two plates of copper alloy. Each one is sub-rectangular, they appear to have been soldered together at the terminal end. The terminal is in the shape of an acorn, with a pointed knop and a wide collar. The main body then extends into the rectangular plate, neither plate is decorated. The attachment terminal has rounded corners and retains a rivet hole, which still contains a copper alloy rivet. The metal has a light brownish-green patina and is worn.
