FINGER RING
Unique ID: YORYM-798426
Object type certainty: Certain
A cast copper alloy finger ring fragment. The bezel survives in full, but only part of the hoop survives. Both breaks are well worn. The bezel has an elongated lozenge shape, with well rounded edges. There is a central rib running along the centre of the bezel, this has a square section. Either side of the rib there is an incised ring and dot motif. There is also an incised line around the edge of the bezel. The surviving part of the hoop has a squared off D-shaped section. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour.
There is a possibility that this object could be something other than a finger ring, but this seemed to be the most suitable identification.
