An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval harness pendant (1200-1400). The pendant is circular in plan with a suspension loop turned through 90° at the top. There is a large copper-alloy rivet/stud at the centre. The front is decorated with a plain six-pointed star surrounded by punched annulets in an irregular pattern. The rear face is flat and plain. The front has a buff surface and minute flecks of gilding. 40.0 x 31.9 5.1mm. Weight: 6.43g.
