The strap end has been made from a single plate of cast copper alloy. The attachment end is stepped is missing due to the break, which has occurred half way along the length of the strap end. The main body is tongue shaped, with a slight border around the edge of the tongue. The front plate is decorated with a complex interlacing, geometric design. The reverse is undecorated. The metal is a light greyish-green colour.
