The object is formed from a strip of copper alloy. One terminal is broken but features a large, circular ring, with a circular perforation. It is flanked either side by a thin collar. The piece then extends into a strip of copper alloy with a D-shaped section. The terminal is rounded and features a rivet hole. The copper alloy rivet remains in situ, it is bent. The metal is a dark brownish-green colour and only slightly pitted.
