A cast copper-alloy Medieval casket (bar) mount (1200-1500). The mount is sub-rectangular in plan, convex at the front and flat at the rear. It has two pairs of transverse ribs, 24.4mm apart. At one end there is an oval section with a circular hole for a rivet, 2.4mm in diameter. This end terminates with an elongated knop. At the opposite end there is an old oblique break.
