An incomplete cast copper alloy hooked tag of post-medieval date. The main plate is flat and triangular in plan with two attachment holes at the wider end. Three transverse grooves decorate the juncture between the plate and the hook. From here a short, broken and worn hook extends. The reverse of the object is flat and undecorated.
\nThe metal is a mid brownish-green colour and is worn. The hooked tag is 22.9mm long, 8.9mm wide, 0.8mm thick and weighs 0.6g.
