It is triangular in shape, with two holes at the top of the tag, with an incised ring around each. It measures 21.3mm length, 13mm width, 1.1mm thickness and weighs 0.9 grams. The front is decorated with two punched ring and dot designs, one slightly overlapping the other. The hooked tag is complete and the hook is bent from front to back, terminating in a point. There is a patch of wear on the reverse but otherwise the tag is in good condition. The patina is a dark greenish-grey.
