A sheet copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date. It is flat, rectangular in form, tapering to a rounded base. At the attachment end is a single central rivet hole and the front face has an added white metal coating. This strap end measures 36.95mm in length, 15.43mm in width, 0.48mm in thickness, and weighs 1.36g. It is of probable Medieval date, c.13th-15th centuries AD.
