A Mesolithic - Neolithic flint incomplete adze dating 8,300 - 2,100 BC. One end of the adze is broken and missing. There is no cortex remaining; flake removal scars cover both surfaces. The adze has an irregular oval cross-section. There is some damage and crushing but very little rolling has occurred. The flint is pale - mid grey.
