An incomplete cast copper alloy pin of middle Anglo-Saxon date. The pin has a bi-conical head with a median ridge and a rounded collar where the head joins shaft. The shaft of the pin has a circular section and is slightly bent and broken. The break is worn.
The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is slightly pitted. The pin is 23.8mm long, 7.8mm width and weighs 2g.
