Unique ID: LIN-B4F5E6
A cast copper-alloy stirrup strap mount of Williams Class A, Type 6. The mount is broad shouldered with a ribbed, possibly zoomorphic apex terminal. On either side of the frame is a sinuous snake-like beast with pointed oval eye and gaping mouth. The body of the snake forms the side of the frame and the tails meet in the centre either side of the base of a tree. The tree has an apex and one pair of branches beneath it. There are three circular rivet holes along the base but no rearward lip.
