Roman Samian Ware rim sherd from a Form 18/31 or 31 bowl dating 100-150AD rim sherd. Find recovered after Cumbrian floods the find is relatively unabraded and likely to be associated with uncovered structure 2 on the floodplain adjacent to and probably associated with a Roman fort. A series of structures are indicated. The length is 25mm, the width is 21mm, the thickness is 3mm and the weight is 3.51g.
